Classes were small this week but we got some good training in anyway! Really glad the weather has started to warm up. Next week we will still have afternoon training during the holidays! Hope everyone can make it!

今週の練習、人はちょっと少なかったのにいつもように良かった！天気は遂に暖かくなった！来週の祭日昼練習があります！皆是非来てください！

4/17-4/23

Good training this week!! 3 more weeks until Dumau Kyushu! Time to pick up the pace and be ready to fight hard! I myself have a few kg. to lose! We should have a good amount of guys representing Kagoshima! Should be a fun tournament!

今週も練習よかった！３週間にドゥマウがありますので、今から練習はペースアップになります。自分はダイエットしなければならない。多分結構鹿児島の人は出るので楽しみです！

Really good practice Saturday night!  Everybody was training hard and feeling good!

土曜日はすごく楽しかった！皆強いです！技も素晴らしです！

4/10-4/16

Another good week of training this week!! I missed a few days to spend some time with my dad before he left but we got some tough training in! Unfortunately because of the the big earthquake that hit Northern Kyushu Thursday night the Kyushu Open has been postponed. Everyone was training hard for it.

今週も練習よかった！お父さんと大事な時間を過ごしたので、少し休みました。木曜日の晩大きな地震ので九州オーペンは延期。残念でした、でも地震は本当に深刻でした。

 Saturday night was a great class quite a few people showed up and we had really good training.

土曜日の練習は多かった！嬉しかった！

Everyone prepared well for the competition so lets keep it up and be ready for the next one!

Dads Seminar

Thanks everyone who came to my dads seminar! Had a good time and learned a few good tricks myself!

皆がきました！ありがとうございました！セミナーは楽しかった！私もトリックを習いました！

Learned a few of my dads favorite passes and submissions! Some good details on control using the lapel and also details on my dads favorite ankle locks!

お父さんは好きなパッスとサッブミッソンを教えてもらいました！いろいろ足首締めのディテール！そしてラッペルで抑えることを習いました！

4/3-4/9

A week of fun and tough training this week! My dad has been coming to training all week too! Always offering up some good tips and sneaky submissions!

今週の練習はきついのに楽しかった！お父さんもずっときました！いつも、アドバイスとトリックを教えてもらえます！

Afternoon sessions were tough as usual everyone is working hard on improving and I have been seeing a good amount of progress in everyones skill!

昼練習はいつもきついでした！みんな強くなりたいので練習を頑張ります！皆さんの技はだんだん良くなってきています！

A lot of guys will be heading up to Kumamoto at the end of the month for the JBJJF Kyushu Open. I'm sure Kagoshima will represent well!

２週間後熊本で試合があります。鹿児島人やります！頑張って！！

3/27-4/02

Great to be back to training after a week off traveling with my family. Some bigger classes this week and lots of good energy. Next week during the Saturday class my dad will be having a mini-seminar showing a few of his favorite techniques so please attend if you can! Price for the seminar is 円500.

今週、家族と旅行した帰りました。練習が始めたので嬉しかった。皆元気そうです！来週の土曜日に父がセミナーします。父は好きな技を教えます.セミナー料金は５００円。

Started focusing a little more on guard drilling this week too!

3/13-3/19

Last week of preparation for guys competing at Valekata this weekend. We trained hard for it so I'm sure everyone can do well!! And all Claudio Franca guys going to Pan Ams good luck!!!!

週末はバリカタです。やる人頑張ろ！前にたくさん準備できた！そしてアメリカではパンアムがある。クラディオフランサメンバー頑張ろ！！

 Saturday was great to see guys from Newaza World, Volcano Jiu-Jitsu, and Trust Kagoshima all training together!

土曜日、一緒にボルケーノ柔術や寝技ワールドやトラスト柔術メンバーと練習した！

 Koushirou is a truly talented kid amazing guard and quick learner! This kid has a good future in BJJ!

 This week we reviewed a lot of techniques during the afternoon sessions. Trying to do some fine tuning for the competition!

Super stoked to get the DVD from Full Force Pro of the competition back in December. 

Very happy to get a picture on the cover and on the disc!

１２月の九州の試合DVD買った。自分の写真が入った！嬉しい！

3/6-3/12

Great week of hard training everyday! Guys are getting ready for Valekata competition next week and everyone is feeling strong!　

今週、毎日ハード練習しました。来週はバリカタ！皆は調子がいいし、強いし、試合負けない！！

Saturdays are always a full house at the Budokan Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Aikido, Wrestling all under the same roof its great!

土曜日、武道館はいつも人が多い。ブラジリアン柔術と合気道と柔道とレスリング全部は同じ所。

Monday was one of the bigger afternoon classes great to see the enthusiasm to train!

月曜日の昼練習は多かった。とても嬉しかった。

Nakayama-san and Thomas are a fun one to watch! Both are Super strong! Clash of the Titans!

中山とトマスのスパーは面白かった。両方は強すぎ！

Matsuda-san is always giving everyone a hard time despite the size difference. The true beauty of Jiu-Jitsu!!

 松田の寝技は素晴らしい！小さいけど強い！柔術の技は最高！

Always happy to share the mat with Kami-san.

Another solid week of training of Jiu-Jitsu in Kagoshima! We had some really tough sessions this week! Everyone that came this week thank you!

Thursday was a particular hard one at Kagoshima Budokan! But it was great everyone is putting in a lot of hard work and trying to improve everyday!
